Our story began in Brighton, where we founded Propellernet, a marketing agency that we shaped into one of the UK’s best places to work. We wanted to prove that a company could succeed by putting people and their dreams first.
That experiment worked — not just financially, but culturally. From Propellernet came new ideas and spin-off businesses: CoverageBook, a software tool that transformed how PR is measured, and AnswerThePublic, a search listening platform used worldwide. Each of these grew from the same philosophy: build something that helps people, keep the team small, and make life better — not just for us, but for everyone involved.
But our work was never just about products or profit. It was about world-building — creating environments where imagination and community could flourish. From the “Dream Machine” we built for our team in Brighton, to the time travelling Red Stars rebellion — where fiction bled into reality, creativity became contagious, and people were drawn into a movement that stood against OneCor’s soul-crushing, business-as-usual mindset. Through it all, we’ve believed business is infinitely more powerful when it feels alive, human, and just a little bit magical.
In 2013, we brought that spirit to the mountains. We moved to the French Alps, heavily pregnant with our third daughter, and set about building a life that blended work, family, and adventure without compromise. That’s where Dream Valley comes in.
Dream Valley isn’t just a venue or a project — it’s the embodiment of everything we’ve learned so far. It’s our way of inviting others into the world we’ve been creating: one where business serves humanity, not the other way around. It’s where conversations flow as freely as the rivers, where work and play blur, and where new ideas take root against the backdrop of wild mountain landscapes.
We’re not interested in following the rules of corporate life. We’re here to write new ones — ones that make life richer, more playful, and more connected.
Dream Valley is the home we’ve built for ourselves, our family, and now, for you..”
